We started this blog in September 2018 to share our experiences, challenges and progress in the journey towards Financial Independence and Early Retirement. While there are many blogs about F.I.R.E., few of them are in Indian context of earnings, savings, investments and lifestyle.
Who we are:
- We are 32/F, 36/M, married since 2017. We have a cute and naughty 1 yr old daughter.
- We are currently working in IT MNCs in a Tier 1 city.
- We live in a rented home close to our offices.
- We own a scooter which both of us can drive. We don't have a car.
- We use Uber/Ola for local commutes and public transport for outstation commutes.
- We live a simple lifestyle and cut down on non-essential expenses as much as possible.
- We love to travel and explore new places. We make our own budget travel plans.
- We are not financial advisers.
Why we blog about our early retirement plan?
- to share our experience with people aspiring for financial independence.
- to track our progress regularly, and adapt as and when required.
- to get motivation in case we lose hope.
- to continue blogging after retirement to keep ourselves occupied.
Why anonymous?
Anonymity enables us to be open and honest in our posts.Also, we don’t want our employers, friends and family to be aware about the plan right now.
